History
Applications Engineering Group, Inc., was established in 1994 in Jacksonville, Florida, as a forensic science/engineering firm. We are an association of engineers, scientists, physicians, and biomechanists who are recognized experts in their field. Since then, we have analyzed and reported our scientific conclusions on several thousand cases. Our experts have presented their analyses and conclusions at hundreds of depositions and court trials. Our clients include national insurance companies, industry, independent adjusters, state and federal agencies, attorneys, and private individuals.

We take the time constraints of our clients very seriously. We maintain open communication and provide cost/time estimates compatible with the requirements of the investigative analysis. Our goal is to provide solid conclusions in a timely and cost-effective manner. We have the technical capabilities, facilities, resources and proper testing equipment to analyze a wide range of areas in damage assessment, failure analysis, and accident reconstruction.
Comprehensive Analyses
The latest analysis techniques, supported by computer simulations and databases, are used in all our investigative analyses. Through state-of-the-art investigative and laboratory technology, we provide our clients with reasonably conclusive and defensible answers to their technical questions.
Facilities
Our facility, located just east of Jacksonville in Atlantic Beach, Florida, offers a wide range of capabilities to assist our professionals with their investigations. Our inspection/testing areas can accommodate the largest of inspections, and are also available for rental. The materials laboratory has state of the art equipment, including Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) with Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS) as well macro/micro hardness testing to aid our associates in their investigations. We also maintain a warehouse on site, dedicated to the storage of evidence.
